~ Sally Struthers mimicking Cartman. |
Sally Struthers is an supporting antagonist in South Park. A version of the real-life actress, she serves as main antagonist of the episode "Starvin' Marvin" and "Starvin' Marvin in Space" and was depicted as an extremely obese and greedy woman who stole food from the starving population of Ethiopia while pretending to be an activist for change.
Biography[]
Struthers' greed was immense in South Park, to the point she defended every morsel of ill-gotten food and became infuriated at even a single piece of her mountain of food being stolen. Somewhat ironically, it was Eric Cartman who would expose her as a fraud, causing the starving population to stage a revolt against their gluttonous overlord.
In "Starvin' Marvin in Space", she eventually appears to look like Jabba the Hutt from the Star Wars movies.
Sally Struthers is also referenced in "The Death of Eric Cartma'", in an incident referred to as the Sally Struthers Incident which of course is referencing the episode "Starvin' Marvin".
Struthers later reappears in "200" and "201" where she is one of the many who followed Tom Cruise to take revenge on South Park. She and the other celebrities redeem themselves after Cartman is saved by the Super Best Friends.
