Zed is one of the villains from the hit 1994 motion picture, Pulp Fiction. He is the true main antagonist of the chapter called "The Gold Watch."

History

Butch Coolidge was being chased by crime boss, Marcellus Wallace into a pawn shop where Butch nearly killed him. Suddenly the pawn shop owner, Maynard, held Butch at gun point with his shotgun, knocking out Butch while Marcellus slipped into an unconscious state after his fight with Butch. Meanwhile, Maynard phones in Zed.

Later on, Maynard woke them both up and they found themselves bound and gagged. Zed then arrives and they woke up 'The Gimp.' Zed would choose Marcellus randomly and himself and Maynard brought him to the back room. They bend Marsellus over a volting horse in the room and Zed raped him while Maynard was cheered him on. Butch manages to untie himself and knocks The Gimp out. Just as Butch is about to leave the pawn shop, he realises he can't leave Marsellus like this and goes back to save him with a katana in hand.

Butch sneaks up on Maynard and brutally slashes and stabs him with a sword. He then holds Zed at bay with the katana.

Butch egged on Zed to grab his handgun. During this time, Marsellus frees himself and picks up Maynard's shotgun. Before Zed could grab his pistol, Marsellus shoots off Zed's genitals with the shotgun. He vowed that Zed's suffering had only begun, promising that he would call his crew in to torture Zed with a pair of pliars and a blowtorch. Since Butch saved him, he called off his feud with him, provided he left Los Angeles forever and that he would keep what happened there between the three of them. Afterwards, Zed was tortured, mutilated and killed by Marsellus' men.
