The Yeti Krab is a minor antagonist in SpongeBob SquarePants and the main antagonist of the episode Yeti Krab.
The Yeti Krab was first mentioned by Mr. Krabs when he told a story about it to get Squidward Tentacles to stop being lazy. Squidward is not fooled by this story, but SpongeBob is scared into working overtime to keep the Yeti Krab at bay. As it turns out, the Yeti Krab actually did exist. By sheer coincidence, while SpongeBob is working at the Krusty Krab, the Yeti Krab emerges from his mountain cave in search of some food. After catching the scent of Krabby Patties, it heads towards the Krusty Krab. When it enters the building, SpongeBob thinks the Yeti Krab is going to eat him, so he works even harder to make it go away, but to no avail. Meanwhile, Squidward thinks that the Yeti Krab is just Mr. Krabs in a convincing costume trying to get more work out of SpongeBob. Squidward is appalled that Mr. Krabs is supposedly "using fear to prey on a feeble mind." Feeling that "not even SpongeBob deserves that," Squidward uses materials from a dumpster to create his own costume. Squidward then attacks the Yeti Krab and tries to pull off the "mask." But then Mr. Krabs comes back and Squidward realizes he is attacking the real Yeti Krab. The Yeti Krab becomes enraged and grabs SpongeBob, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs. It ties them up and holds them over the grill to cook them. Then SpongeBob hears the Yeti Krab's growling stomach and figures out that it is hungry. SpongeBob escapes the ropes, cooks some Krabby Patties, and feeds them to the Yeti Krab. This satisfies the Yeti Krab, so it frees the three of them, pays Mr. Krabs (much to Mr. Krabs's delight), and leaves the Krusty Krab.
The Yeti Krab is tall, pink, and has white hair on his legs, eye stalks, forearms, and upper body. He has large light yellow teeth, light green eyes, and a bad temper. He also has an oddly shaped nose.
- There is a real-life creature called the yeti crab.
