Viscount Marbey is the main antagonist of the 2004 live action film, The Princes Diairies 2: Royal Engagement. He is a former member of the Genovian parliament and the uncle of Mia's love interest, Nicholas Deveureux.
He was portrayed by John Rhys-Davies.
Viscount Mabrey is a deceitful, conniving, persuasive, sarcastic, impatient, cunning, selfish, cocky, rude, greedy, arrogant, obnoxious, despicable, supercilious, vindictive, and ambitious man. He is very smart and manipulative when it comes to getting what he wants.
Mabrey is the uncle of Nicholas. Nicholas looked up to his uncle and also trusted him, but was oblivious to how his uncle manipulated him by lying about Nicholas' father's death wish. He also oblivious to how his uncle would sabotage others to get what he wants and tried to stop him from interfering in Mia's would-be wedding. However, it is uncle whether Mabrey is self-seeking or if his desire for Nicholas to become King is for his own nephew's benefit.
