Count Bleck (Super Paper Mario)

Count Bleck has some similarities to the following villains.

  • Yokai from Big Hero 6
    • Both of them are the main antagonist in their stories.
    • Both eventually reveal their real name (Lord Blumiere for Bleck, Robert Callaghan for Yokai).
    • Both are eventually revealed to be Tragic and Insecure villains who seek revenge for their loved one who vanished into another dimension.
      • Bleck lost his love at the hands of his father who banished her from their home dimension, Yokai lost his daughter in an accident during an experimentation of a massive teleportation device.
    • Both have a similar line, saying they wanted to destroy/take everything that took their loved one away.
      • Bleck says "I wanted to destroy everything that had taken you away from me", Yokai says "you [Krei] took everything from me, so I will take everything from you".
    • Both have been Remorseful after finding out that the said loved one was still alive.
  • The Witch from ParaNorman.
    • Both of them are the main antagonist in their stories.
    • Both get revenge on those who destroyed their innocence.
    • Both are eventually revealed to be Tragic and Insecure villains.
    • Both eventually reveal their real name (Lord Blumiere for Bleck, Agatha Prenderghast for the Witch).
    • Both have been Redeemed in the end.

Count Bleck's Father (Super Paper Mario)

Count Bleck's Father has some similarities to the following villains.

  • Judge Hopkins from ParaNorman.
    • Both of them are Lawful Neutral.
    • Both of them are Disciplinarians and authoritarian, abusive Control Freaks.
    • Both are Delusional villains who has done evil in a misguided attempt to protect their people from its destruction.
    • Both have pride, prejudice, and intolerance for rule-breaking that brought about their downfall.
    • Both destroyed their victim's innocence by punishing them for an innocent thing which their people considered to be a crime, turning the said victim into the main antagonist in their stories.
      • Bleck's father banished Timpani from their home dimension for causing his son to break a taboo to marry someone outside of his tribe, Hopkins sentenced Aggie Prenderghast to death for the ability to talk to the dead which the townspeople considered to be witchcraft.
    • Both have been Deceased Scapegoats at the hands of their victim.
