Uncle Deadly
Enough! Just because I have a terrifying name and an evil English accent, does not preclude the fact that, in my heart, I am a Muppet, not a Moopet!
~ Uncle Deadly betraying Tex Richman.

Uncle Deadly is a blue, dragon-like monster wearing a cape also known as the Phantom of The Muppet Show. Although he made his first appearance in the Vincent Price episode of The Muppet Show, Uncle Deadly did not receive his proper introduction until the Twiggy episode. One by one, the Muppets tell Kermit that they have seen a phantom, but Kermit refuses to believe them until he sees Uncle Deadly with his own eyes. Once revealed, Uncle Deadly explains that he used to perform at the Muppet Theater, where he played Othello until he was killed... by the critics.

In the 2011 film The Muppets, he returns as Tex Richman's assistant, and also as one of the two secondary antagonists before redeeming himself.

He also returns for the sequel, Muppets Most Wanted, along with Bobo. In this appearance, he is seen sitting at a piano memorizing the lyrics on the sheet of paper in front of him. He also appears in the gulag finale at the end of the movie.
