The Two-Headed Parrot was the parrot-themed monster of the Evil Space Aliens under Rita Repulsa and a minor antagonist in Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. He is the main antagonist of the episode "Two Heads are Better than One" and a cameo antagonist in the two-part Power Rangers In Space series finale "Countdown to Destruction."

Both heads are voiced by the late Robert Axelrod who also previously voiced Lokar, the Goo Fish and later Lord Zedd all in Mighty Morphin as well as Mutantrum in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Outside of Power Rangers, he is best known as Wizardmon in Digimon Frontier.

Biography

The Two-Headed Parrot is created by Finster when Rita overhears the old saying "two heads are better than one" during Jason and Tommy's karate class and she wishes to use the idea to destroy the Rangers. After being created, the Two-Headed Parrot attacks Jason and Tommy as they walk home through the Park. Jason and Tommy keep the principle of team fight but Jason eventually forgets his own teaching so the monster is close to victory, but Tommy returns to help. The Rangers use the weakness of the Parrot and give him the Pamango fruit, making the two heads argue between them. Frustrated, Rita enlarges the Two-Headed Parrot who overwhelms the Dino Megazord and Dragonzord so the Rangers form the Ultrazord. The Rangers offer the Parrot the chance to surrender, but he refuses so the Rangers apologetically finish him off.

Four years later, the Two-Headed Parrot joins the Machine Empire and General Havoc's army which attacks KO-35 and the Phantom Ranger's home-world. Although they defeat the Blue Senturion and Phantom Ranger, the Two-Headed Parrot is turned to dust with the rest of the army when Zordon's Energy Wave washes over the universe.

Personality

Two-Headed Parrot had two heads who were excellent combatants when working together but were usually seen arguing with each other. Two-Headed Parrot was an evil individual who wanted to destroy the Rangers to help Rita and when Jason proposed him to surrender, Parrot refused.
