technically speaking "Troll" is not a comedy-horror, it is a Dark Fantasy - kind of like Labyrinth or the Dark Crystal.. it's also not really that bad a movie (admittedly goofy): it does remind me a lot of the Leprechaun series but that's not really surprising considering trolls and leprechauns are kind of similiar monsters (in folklore anyway) Inferno Pendragon 21:07, January 4, 2011 (UTC)
I thought Dark Fantasy was a subgenre of horror - so it would still be valid as a "comedy-horror" Queen Misery 02:09, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
not necessarily - Dark Fantasy can vary from Lovecraft (obviously horror) to the latter adaptations of the Harry Potter books (Deathly Hollows for example): Dark Fantasy is kind of like what fantasy used to be like before it was tamed down (you know, the old fairy tales - which they altered because they were too violent/scary) Inferno Pendragon 22:19, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
