Game Changer[]
Wallace & Gromit is quite a light-hearted series and while the other villains are threatning none of them compare to the level of Preston since the rest of them did have more comedic or simply thrilling moments while Preston changed the tone of A Close Shave with both his goals, his actions one of which led to Gromit being framed which made the movie have more a depressing tone. Also was deliberately made intimidating to not only the audience but also the characters, just because he didn't have a gun or wasn't a baker murdering serial killer it doesn't mean he was at the same standard as the others. I would say that his actions are pretty heinous but he does have a Freudian Excuse...his creator died and left him all alone...with the exception of Wendolene. He was seen smiling along with his owner in a picture. Joshuafoote14 January 12, 2018

His redemption wasn't an act he performed willingly, and his newly sweet demeanor was purely the result of Wendolene more-or-less brainwashing him to be good, it's not a genuine act of redemption.
