The Tailed-People Clan Jashinka Empire are an imperialist society of reptilian humanoids and the main antagonists of Kagaku Sentai Dynaman.

Group History[]

Past[]

The Tailed-People Clan Jashinka Empire originated from a meteor that crashed into Earth and burrowed into its core, where the lifeforms within it evolved into a civilisation known as the Tailed-People. The Tailed-People became advanced in science and eventually came to be ruled by Emperor Aton and his son Prince Megiddo who believed the Earth to belong to them. Believing themselves to be superior life forms, the Jashinka had a hierarchy based on the numbers of tails each of them has, with a higher number of tails designating a greater status; the highest ranking having 9 tails and being the rulers. However, they believed that gaining ten tails would make them all powerful and allow them to conquer the Earth (in reality, the rapid evolution would only kill them outright). Some time in the past, the Jashinka Empire sent two Tail Soldiers to Earth to spy on human society and learn the species' weaknesses. However, they came to like human society so much that they defected and became Kyoko and Nobuo Ogata who later had a son named Kazuo.

Fifteen years ago, the Jashinka uncovered the work of Doctor Tooyama to create Retro Genes that would cause humans to evolve but the Jashinka just saw their chance to get stronger and gain a tenth tail. Elements of the Empire attacked his lab and killed all of his assistants which included his wife but Tooyama managed to escape and bury the Retro Genes underground so they could not be used again. Well aware of the threat that the Tailed-People Clan Jashinka Empire could pose in the future, Tooyama changed his name to Doctor Kyuutarou Yumeno and began building the weaponry that would later be given to the Dynamen.

Dynaman[]

In 1982, the Jashinka Empire launch an-all out invasion of the surface world with the ultimate goal to forcibly convert all of humanity into Tailed-People like themselves. When the Jashinka Empire begin their conquest of Earth, Megiddo leads the vanguard assault on the surface alongside Crab Evo only to face resistance from the Dynamen. In his first fight with DynaRed, Megiddo has one of his tails chopped off, leading to a rivalry between the two. After several failures, the Jashinka Empire just decide to exterminate the human race altogether and later summon the Emperor's niece Princess Chimera after more failures. Megiddo and Chimera are initially at odds, with Chimera mocking Megiddo for losing a tail, but eventually the two begin to collaborate on schemes. Later on, the Emperor revives General Zenobia from her imprisonment in the Millennium Cave after the continued failures of Megiddo and his other subjects to defeat the Dynamen.

After Megiddo bungles a scheme by Zenobia to obtain Ketazone gas for the empire, Aton, dissatisfied with his son's streak of failures, has Zenobia cut off Megiddo's tails and banishes him to the Millennium Cave. While in there, Megiddo discovers a scroll that says that, if a Tailed-Person obtains 10 tails, the rapid evolution would kill them, leading Megiddo to conclude his people's entire caste system based on tails is worthless. He later manages to escape his imprisonment and seeks revenge against his father for casting him out; taking up the identity of the Dark Knight to conceal his identity as he challenges both the Dynaman and the Jashinka.

His first scheme involves stealing Aton's Emperor Sword and giving it to Kousaku Nangou so Aton would curse him. Both the Dynamen and the Jashinka are alarmed by the emergence of the Dark Knight as they both now have a new foe to contend with. The Dark Knight goes on to play the Jashinka and the Dynaman against each other several more times, ensuring neither gain a definitive advantage in their fight. When General Kar discovers the Retro Genes, which can be used to obtain a tenth tail, the Dark Knight approaches General Zenobia and tells her what Kar discovered, offering her a way to obtain ten tails first. While the Dynamen manage to destroy the Retro Genes, the Dark Knight is able to hack the Evolution Beast Computer Dragon and use him to abduct Dr. Yumeno.

Following General Kar's demise, Zenobia hypnotises Dr. Yumeno to use his knowledge create more Retro Genes while the Dark Knight constructs a machine that will give Zenobia ten tails. The Dark Knight soon completes the machine and Zenobia enters it to have the Retro Genes used on her, but Aton is able to track them both down and attempts to seize the Retro Genes for himself. While Zenobia undergoes the process to obtain a tenth tail, the Dark Knight confronts the Emperor and fights him in a one-on-one duel. After the Dark Knight fatally wounds Aton, the machine rises up as Zenobia obtains her tenth tail, only for her to wither away due to the Dark Knight's machinations. The Dark Knight then reveals himself to be Megiddo and exclaims that he sought to prove to his father that tails are not needed in order to be powerful. Hearing this, as Megiddo faces the Dynamen, a dying Aton declares Megiddo the new Emperor of the Jashinka and instructs Chimera to pass on his Emperor Sword to him. Megiddo then seals the Dynamen inside the Millennium Cave to get them out of the way before he mounts his invasion.

Now in control of the Jashinka Empire, Emperor Megiddo announces to his subjects that they will be stealing the Dynamen's mecha and using it to conquer Earth. After the Dynamen are rescued by Yumeno, Megiddo and Chimera go out to face them one final time. While Chimera and DynaPink fight one-on-one, Megiddo takes on all four male Dynamen by himself and is wounded by a blow from DynaRed. Megiddo then reluctantly retreats with Chimera onto the Grand Gizmo and uses it to fight the Dynamen in their mecha. However, the Dynamen use their Lightning Gravity Fall to send the Grand Gizmo careening into the ground and exploding, killing both Megiddo and Chimera. With Megiddo and Chimera dead, the Jashinka Empire is no more.

Turboranger[]

The Tailed-People Clan Jashinka Empire. They were an underground clan that wanted to obtain a tenth tail and rule the world. The ones to crush their ambitions were the Kagaku Sentai Dynaman! Using the Dyna Robo, Dynaman destroyed the Jashinka Empire.
~ The narrator.

During the Turborangers' first battle against the Hundred Boma Tribes, they are joined by all ten previous Super Sentai teams which includes the Dynamen. As the Sentai challenge the Boma's view that they are all useless, the narrator recalls Sun Vulcan's many battles against the Tailed-People Clan Jashinka Empire and how they ultimately put an end to the Empire's ambitions.

Timeranger[]

Seventeen years later, the Timerangers embark on a journey to understand the previous Sentai teams by using the TimeJets to revisit thier battles. They arrive in the time of Dynaman where they see Bear Mozoo being defeated and the Jashinka Empire as a whole is mentioned by Tock as having been defeated by the Dynamen.

Arsenal[]

Grand Gizmo[]

Grand Gizmo ending

The Grand Gizmo was the airship headquarters of the Jashinka Empire, home to Emperor Aton and his inner circle. It typically resides underground, but occasionally enters the surface through a tunnel in a volcano to battle the Dynamen in their Dyna Robo. It resembles a lizard-like creature with an open mouth. Within lay Emperor Aton's throne room, as well as a lab used by General Kar for conducting experiments. It was capable of dispensing smaller air fighters called Gizmosquitoes and also housed the Big Bang Beam, used by Jashinka to enlarge defeated Evolution Monsters.

Gizmosquitoes[]

Gizmosquitoes Ep51

Gizmosquitoes were small aerial fighter crafts used by the Jashinka Empire for air combat which were typically held in the hangar of the Grand Gizmo and deployed through its mouth to go into battle. They were often used by the Jashinka to battle Dyna Robo, as well as attack and bomb targets. Their main weapon was a blue laser beam fired from their nose.
