Run, flesh! Run from the monster you created! Run from... Street!
~ Street

Henry Kramer, also known as Street, is a villain from Marvel Comics. He was an employee at an asphalt company that fell into a mixer of experimental asphalt, transforming him into a humanoid monster made of asphalt that took to becoming a supervillain.

History

Henry Kramer was an employee at Industrico, an industrial construction and materials company. His company began work on a new, experimental asphalt polymer that was extra durable and weather-resistant, but the compound proved highly unstable and unpredictable. During the experiments, Kramer fell into the mixer, getting caught in the compound.

The asphalt compound mutated Kramer's body, transforming him into a giant, sentient asphalt figure. Enraged by his new form and vowing revenge on humanity for turning him into a monster, Kramer took up the supervillain alias "Street" and began terrorizing New York City while telling everyone his origin story.

Street was confronted by Spider-Man, who saved people from Strret's rampage and battled him. Spider-Man was joined by the Human Torch, who managed to use fire to incapacitate Street so Spider-Man could restrain him in webbing. However, due to an argument between the heroes, Street was able to assimilate into the street below him and escape.

Spider-Man tracked down Street later, terrorizing a marketplace. Street managed to knock Spider-Man away, only for an apologetic Human Torch to super-heat him and cause him to fuse solid. Torch and Spider-Man left him to deal with more pressing and dangerous matters, namely the arrival of the alien Goom. Street, however, regained conciseness and tracked the heroes down by feeling their unique footsteps through the network of New York asphalt and pavement, tracking them down. However, as he approached, he was suddenly crushed under the giant Goom's foot, defeating him.

Street would later reconstruct himself and challenge the Fantastic Four. Though the team were able to easily hold him off, Mr. Fantastic decided to test his Cross-Frequency Modulator, which released a frequency so high that it vibrated Street to pieces. Street vowed to reconstruct himself and take revenge. However, at that time, Lockjaw appeared, summoned by the frequency. His teleportation powers suddenly go awry, and he teleports the Fantastic Four away. Street believes he somehow defeated them and tries to gloat, only for everyone around to literally walk over him.

Street eventually reconstructs himself, and goes to wreck havoc in Central Park. However, at the same exact time, the Fantastic Four resolve Lockjaw's teleportation problem and teleport back right where Street is standing, crushing him to pieces again. The Fantastic Four go off to fix any issues caused by their adventure, leaving Street in pieces and again vowing revenge.
