Biography[]

Nothing is really known about Stephanie at all, but it appears to be that she began to work for Aalto Airlines as a flight attendant prior to the film's events.

In actuality, she was one of Gene Carson's conspirators who were planning a plot to hijack the brand new E-474 that Aalto was using flying from Berlin to New York. The first step was murdering David Pratt, Kyle's husband, by pushing him off a rooftop and placing explosives on his coffin and a detonator to bypass airport security, then kidnap Julia and erase any trace of her records and frame Kyle for the murder.

As the plane took off, they waited for Kyle to fall asleep so they can secretly kidnap Julia and store her into a food cart. When Kyle sees that Julia is missing, Stephanie is first shown making an announcement that Julia has gone "missing" and orders any passengers to call if they see her. Despite Kyle telling one of the flight attendants that she has to search every galley to look for her, she is ordered to go back to her seat, believing her to be delusional.

She also seems to be unsympathetic, as she makes false claims that there wasn't any record of Julia being on the plane. Kyle also convinces Captain Marcus Rich to have the plane searched for Julia to be found, with Stephanie expressing disbelief on the order. She then goes down the plane's cargo hold to find Julia only to realize she isn't there. Rich later received a message from the hospital where David was previously placed before his death and claimed that Julia died the same way as her father, which made it appear that Kyle was having delusions about her daughter being alive out of grief.

After Kyle is escorted back to her seat handcuffed by Gene Carson, she then consoled her about her loss. Her true colors were then revealed when she had a discussion with Gene about their plan to blow up the plane and frame Kyle so they can get away with their crimes. After she consoles Kyle one last time, Gene tells her that they are making an emergency landing in an airport at Newfoundland & Labrador, where she would be escorted by the FBI after the passengers have departed. Upon landing, Gene tries to emerge himself as the hero while Kyle is left behind with Stephanie and the rest of the flight attendants watching her. However, Kyle tells Gene to come back inside to confront him on where her daughter is. After the last remaining flight crew are evacuated, including Captain Rich, this allows Kyle to knock Gene out with a fire extinguisher, handcuff him, and demand her daughter's location once more before fleeing. However, Gene use another pistol to free himself and go after Julia while ordering Stephanie to stay. As Gene searches for her, Kyle confronts Stephanie, who is holding a staff, on why she wants to kill Julia before punching her once more and continuing the search. Barely injured, she becomes guilt-ridden and escapes from the plane. Nevertheless, Kyle is able to rescue Julia from the avionics and kill Gene Carson using his own explosives, foiling the plot and finally having the passengers realize the truth all along. Thus, ending the ensuing chaos. After arriving back in the United States, it was revealed that Stephanie was among the few conspirators to be arrested for the plot.
