Scowl the Owl and Batso the Bat are the minor antagonists in the 1993 animated fantasy film, Happily Ever After.
The minions of Lord Maliss, Scowl and Batso do what they can to please him by carrying out his evil acts for him, but fail. As the last straw, Maliss goes in search of Scowl and Batso to prevent them from foiling his next scheme. Having imprisoned the two, Maliss leaves to find Snow White, Scowl and Batso escape to prevent the dwarfelles from entering Maliss' castle but are foiled.
Later in the film, the two are seen soon to become Mother Nature's pets.
Scowl is voiced by Ed Asner and Batso is voiced by Frank Welker.
