The name is Schwick, Buschwick. But you can call me Schwick.
~ Schwick

Buschwick (otherwise known by his nickname, Schwick) is a giant cockroach and a creepy crook who appears as an antagonist in Courage the Cowardly Dog.

He was voiced by Paul Schoeffler.

Schwick is a shifty, cunning, paranoid, deceitful, traitorous, and manipulative Urban cockroach with a suspiciously repetitive and monotonous speech pattern. He lures people into the basement with misleading signs and promises of concessions, and then has them eaten by a mysterious creature locked up in the room wall. The exact nature of this process is physically unknown, though he has connections in creepy, abadoned areas that perhaps make it better left unsaid. He is also very argumentative and contentious.

Hailing from his old hometown of Buschwick (which where he gets his name from), Schwick relocated to New York City and became an infamous criminal wanted for association with the Evil Package. After luring a number of people to their boney demise, he met performer Muriel Bagge and her family. Troubled by a plea for help written on the window that could alert the Bagges of his plan, he requested that Courage claim the package, without the interference of cops. When he returned, the content of the box—a squeegee—was bent, and so he angrily chased the dog to the stage where he was caught and arrested by the police.
