Sador's big head
Hear me, beings of Akir: I am Sador of the Malmori. I have come with my forces to conquer you. If you resist, I will crush you. I possess a stellar converter, the most powerful weapon in the universe. You cannot resist me. I want your planet to be my colony. Your harvest comes in seven risings of your red giant. I will return then, and you will accept me as your master. If you do not submit, your planet and all life on it will be burned to ash.
~ Sador

Battle Beyond the Stars OFFICIAL Trailer-1

Sador was the overlord of the planet Malmor, and supreme leader of the Malmori Empire. He commanded a Hammerhead-class dreadnought; this mothership was armed with a stellar converter, the most feared weapon in the universe, which would turn an entire planet into a white dwarf star with one shot (hence the name). Sador traveled the galaxy, adding worlds to the Malmori realm; he used force to destroy any resistance, often employing the stellar converter. He showed satisfaction with exterminating races, at one point stating his "pleasure" of wiping out the Lazuli species (or so he believed). In addition to his military might, Sador employed surgeons who could remove limbs from other beings, even those of entirely different species, and attach them to himself...allowing Sador to live indefinitely by transplanting body parts a la Frankenstein. He often used the limbs of disloyal or incompetent soldiers for the same purpose.

The film opens with Sador's mothership arriving at the world of Akir; he destroys the planet's defenseless weather satellite (along with both its crew members), as a demonstration of his firepower. Despite its size, Hammerhead enters Akir's atmosphere and beams down a giant hologram of Sador's face to the peaceful Akira. Sador claims the Akira and their planet for the Malmori domain, proclaiming that he will return in one week to begin colonization. While Sador went off to deal with Umateal, another prospective Malmori colony, one of Akir's inhabitants left to find mercenaries.

The inhabitants of Umateal had cremated the Malmori emissary; when they sent the ashes back to Sador, he destroyed their world with Hammerhead's stellar converter. Then Sador returned to Akir...where the now-armed inhabitants, trained by a motley crew of freebooting adventurers, waited to resist the Malmori occupation.

In the end, Hammerhead was disintegrated with all hands when a critical hit to the stellar converter led to it backfiring...and to Sador meeting the fate he had inflicted on Umateal.
