Ryoutarou Shindou is the main antagonist in the Cerberus manga-series, written by Takumi Fukui. He is a legendary "gravekeeper", a person who joins forces with a "Kugai", a demonic dog which grants its wielder otherworldly powers.
Even though he already has a very powerful Kugai named Kurokokera as his partner, Ryoutarou is searching for a supposed ultimate Kugai, which bestowes godlike powers. During his search he killed the parents of Kei Tomitsuka, the main protagonist.
History
Currently, not much is known about Ryoutarou's past other than that he was once a member of Tokoyo, an order of priests that battle evil spirits. Eventually, a dispute broke out between him and the rest of Tokoyo, regarding the vile souls.
