- His name is a satirical combination of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the famous actor, Dolph Lundgren. Not only that, his well-built physique, hairdo, and personality resembles those of Lundgren's well-known character, the Russian boxer Ivan Drago from Rocky IV.
- Rudolph Lundgren's voice actor is Rodger Bumpass, the same actor who also played Squidward Tentacles from the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise.
- Despite being the secondary antagonist, his role is small.
