Robert Bly is the secondary antagonist in the 2000 film The Art of War.
He is portrayed by Michael Biehn.
Biography
Bly is a friend of Neil Shaw, who works as an operative for the United Nations' covert dirty-tricks squad, but he is secretly an assassin working for Shaw's boss and the mastermind behind a conspiracy, Eleanor Hooks. Bly assassinates Chinese Ambassador Wu and is chased by Shaw, but Bly manages to escape. After Shaw discovers that Hooks is behind the conspiracy, he and Bly engage in a gunfight before physically fighting each other. Bly is eventually killed by Shaw when he lands on a large shard of broken glass, which impales him through the neck.
