The ringmaster is a greedy man who captures children as donkeys. He is a resident of Toyland and appears in Collodi's fairy tale, The Adventures of Pinocchio. The ringmaster serves as a minor villain.
When Pinocchio has turned to a donkey, the Coachman sells it to the circus and its ringmaster. Inside the circus, the ringmaster makes Pinocchio do tricks until he sprains his leg. He later sells Pinocchio to a man who wants to skin him and make his skin a drum. The ringmaster is never seen again.
The ringmaster appears in the film when Pinocchio turns into a donkey. His role is the same, but there are two differences. He tells Pinocchio to dive into a bucket and jump through a ring of fire. He later releases Pinocchio to the sea as punishment.
