Riki Takeuchi, or simply "Riki", is a villain character in the 2003 film Battle Royale II: Requiem. He is the teacher of the Shikanotoride Junior High School Class 3-B group of students and administrator of the Battle Royale II Program. He is played by the actual Riki Takeuchi.

Riki is also a rugby coach and had a daughter, Hitoe Takeuchi (played by Nanami Ohta), who lost her life in Wild Seven's terrorist attack on downtown Tokyo. He also takes a lot of pills although it is never explicitly stated what they are for.

Near the end of the film, Riki finally realizes a truth about the world he lives in. When the Prime Minister of Japan orders him to bomb the island the Wild Seven is based at, Riki is disgusted and questions the actions of the adults, so easily provoked into using bombs to get their way (much in the manner of children). When the Japanese troops raid the base on Island, Riki accompanies them. He enters the base wearing a rugby kit and carrying the rugby ball seen at the start of the film. He then meets with the surviving trio of Shuya Nanahara, Shiori Kitano and Takuma Aoi, and explains them that they must find their future. A collar around his neck then beeps, and he promptly throws himself into the hideout, as if converting a try, as the trio escape outside. His collar explodes, as well as the building around him, instantly killing him.
