Red Caps are vicious little monsters from the City of Heroes franchise and one of the main hostile factions of the game, they are based on the Redcaps of folklore and are a rather faithful adaptation to the legend.
Red Caps are malicious and forever seeking ways to do harm to others or to spread hate and fear within communities, enjoying the problems caused by such behavior.
They are inspired by the folklore of Redcaps, malicious goblins believed to haunt scenes of violence and war.
