|~ Queen Slug-For-A-Butt|
Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-For-A-Butt (also known as Queen Slug-For-A-Butt) is the main antagonist from the first Earthworm Jim game and the animated series.
She was voiced by Andrea Martin.
Queen Slug-For-A-Butt is the evil ruler of the planet Insectika. The planet (which was once beautiful) became a putrid wasteland under her rule, but she believes she did an excellent job in ruling the planet, so she decided she deserved to rule the entire universe. Despite her frightening appearance, she is considered to be quite beautiful on her home planet. She has a twin sister, the Princess What's-Her-Name, whom she banished and imprisoned for being considered ugly by the standards of her race. She ordered one of her henchmen, the Professor Monkey-For-A-Head to create a spacesuit to her, so she would become even more powerful than she already is. The professor created the Ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit, which was to be delivered to her by another of her lackeys, Psy-Crow. But an accident made him drop the Suit on Earth, where a worm entered it and mutated him, making him become Earthworm Jim. Jim hears about the queen and her twin, deciding to rescue the princess. Jim then travels the universe after the Queen, facing Psy-Crow and the professor along the way, as well as many other villains. Jim eventually reach Buttville, a hive-like citadel where the Queen hides, facing the Queen and ultimately defeating her.
In the cartoon series, the Queen plays the same role from the games. Differently from the other villains of the series, she sees Jim only as a nuisance, but holding a serious grudge against the princess (who is considered ugly by the Insectikans).
The Queen is vile, mean, cocky, unkind, arrogant, wrathful, heartless, conceited, mordacious, acquisitive, short-tempered, manipulative, egotistical, persuasive, unmerciful, improvident, exploitative, materialistic, unscrupulous, destructive, villainous, opprobrious, dictatorial, supercilious, oppressive, tyrannous, powerful, cunning, selfish, cruel, rude, greedy, violent, sinister, ruthless, wasteful, truculent, sarcastic, impatient, vindictive, egocentric, iniquitous, belligerent, cantankerous, inconsiderate, narcissistic, self-centered, misanthropic, prejudicial, avaricious, eccentric, sadistic, greedy, and stereotypically evil. She hates anything pleasant or good.
The Queen is always sending her henchmen after Jim, and the only times she fights him herself, it is because of the power suit. Unlike her sister, Princess What's Her Name, she is deemed by the people of her planet as a "beautiful" creature.
The Queen is a disgusting, filthy creature, she is constantly spilling out eggs and pus.
- The Queen's design was probably inspired by termite queens, which have a small head and thorax, and a hypertrophied, disproportionately large egg-filled abdomen.
