Professor Googengrime is the main antagonist of the Saban entertainment cartoon Creepy Crawlers. Googengrime is a failed illusionist who seeks to take over the world using the Magic Maker he stole from Chris Carter to create monsters he calls Crime Grimes. He is the archenemy of the Goop-Mandos.
He was voiced by Steve Bulen, who voiced the decepticon Onslaught in the original Transformers cartoon.
Biography[]
Professor Googengrime was once famous illusionist, until 1953 during the Top Hat Awards when he was a nominate for the magician of the year award. He planned to win the award by making a full grown elephant disappear, which the magicians laughed at first. At first the his magic went according to plan, however, the elephant then fell from the celling after ropes supporting him broke and landed Googengrime, ruining his trick and making him a laughingstock in front of the other magicians.
After the incident Professor Googengrime's career was ruined, and he was bitterly forced to open a magic shop, where he hired to Chris Carter a boy who wishes to a great magician himself, but Googengrime doubts Chris' chances and seeks to get revenge on the magicians for laughing at him.
One day Googengrime found Chris Carter working on his own magic trick, that he called the Magic Maker. Googengrime attempted to try it out himself but the Magic Maker exploded in his face, then he angrily fired Chris and kicked out of his magic shop, telling him never to return. However, Chris wanted his Magic Maker back, but Professor Googengrime refused his pleas.
Later that Googengrime planned to get his revenge as he read from on his books the night was time known as Magical Millennium Moment, an event that happens every thousand years. Googengrime planned to capture the cosmic energies to prove he is the greatest magician in the world.
