Professor Destructicon is a minor villain in the Emmy-Award Disney series, Phineas and Ferb, being introduced in the episode "One Good Scare Ought to Do It!" and later serving a cameo in "Rollercoaster: The Musical". He is known by his friends as "Kevin" and was Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz's mentor a long time ago.
History
Despite being Doofenshmirtz's mentor, Professor Destructicon happens to be even more incompetent and dimwitted than his student. Before he was arrested (the reason behind his arrest remains unknown), Destructicon attempted to complete his grand scheme of setting fire to the sun. When he asked Heinz to complete his grand scheme, Heinz actually showed more common sense on this, telling him that the sun was a big ball of fire and the entire plan makes no sense. Realizing that Doofenshmirtz is right, Destructicon asks Heinz to blow up his evil lair located on a tiny island instead. Though Doofenshmirtz's nemesis Perry the Platypus manages to foil Doof's attempt to blow Destructicon's lair, Doofenshmirtz manages to escape away by throwing off the bomb (which was supposed to blow up the lair) off his plane, forcing an angry Perry to let him go, seeing that he has failed to defeat Doofenshmirtz for the first time. As such, Destructicon's lair remains untouched.
