Pinkie Brown is the villain and main character from John Boulting's 1947 noir Brighton Rock, based on the novel by Graham Greene. He was played by the late Richard Attenborough.
He is a young thug who is part of a small crew from the city of Brighton. When he finds out that a former associate who turned on his gang is back in town under a different name, they start hunting him, with Pinkie finally killing him by throwing him off a rollercoaster into the sea.
In order to cover up his crime, he befriends and later marries a young waitress who works at a café where his victim was seen shortly before his death.
