Pharaoh Man is one of the Robot Masters from Mega Man 4.
History
Pharaoh Man was the fourth robot created by Dr. Cossack. He would explore pyramids and other ancient ruins. He was devised with high adaptability to dark places. He was also given enhanced resistance and agility. When Dr. Wily blackmailed Cossack, he equipped Pharaoh Man with the Pharaoh Shot for combat.
Battle
The battle with Pharaoh Man is tricky. He constantly jumps around the room while shooting at the player. Sometimes, he briefly stops on the ground and shoots energy waves at the sides. His weakness is the Flash Stopper.
Trivia
- Pharaoh Man's dislike of raiders may be a reference to archaeology movies such as Indiana Jones. It may also be a reference to the legendary "Pharaoh's curse" often wrought upon those who look inside pyramids.
- Pharaoh Man's quote refers to how powerful the pharaohs of Ancient Egypt believed themselves. The Egyptians also believed that the pharaoh was a god in human form and later the descendant of Horus.
- Pharaoh Man has a snake statue on his forehead in his official artwork. In the game has a blue gem in place due to the small size.
