Ordell Robbie is an extremely powerful and dangerous LA black-market gun runner and drug dealer and the
primary antagonist of the 1992 novel Rum Punch and its 1997 film adaptation by Quentin Tarantino; Jackie Brown.
He was portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson, who would go on to portray Abel Turner.
Biography
Ordell Robbie is an Los Angeles black-market gun runner and drug dealer. He is friends with ex-con Louie and has flight attendant Jackie Brown work for him. Jackie has to smuggle money from Mexico to United States for Ordell.
Ordell's other worker Beaumont Livingston is arrested. He fears that Beaumont may become an informant in order to avoid jail time, so Ordell arranges his bail with bondsman Max Cherry (Robert Forster). Upon Beaumont's release, Ordell lures him out of hiding and murders him.
Jackie Brown then gets caught so he works up a schme to summugle the money pass security but he get scammed by Jackie Brown and Louie turn up with 1/4 of the money, Louie also killed Melaine because she annoyed him so Ordell kills Louis Gara and becomes wanted. He meets Robert and tries to murder him since he knows he was involved but the police are ready. Ordell goes over to Robert's place and attempts to murder Jackie Brown but is shoot by the police.
Personality
Robbie is a very dangerous, ruthless ,and sometimes psychotic manipulative person who enjoys being with his girl Melanie (before she died), and to gain his trades.
He also very like to kill those whom he feels betrayed by them. He has sympathy but he is a very powerful individual, which Brown fears of ,because in the film he actually wanted to kill her because she scammed him.
