Nivawk is a major antagonist in the BIONICLE franchise who appears as the supporting antagonist in the Metru Nui story arc. It is a Rahi who serves as the member of the Brotherhood of Makuta and both Makuta Teridax's pet and spy.
Biography[]
Nivawk was most likely to have created by the Brotherhood of Makuta in the past as Makuta Teridax used it as both his servant and pet.
It later found Teridax in Metru Nui after he appeared in the island and was tasked of observing the activities in the city and spying on his enemies as he have the ability to understand its language.
Later, Nivawk went to the Great Temple and spied on the conversation of the six Matoran; Vakama, Nokama, Matau, Onewa, Whenua and Nuju who were then transformed into the Toa Metru before flying off to inform its master. It later appeared in Po-Metru where it witnessed the battle between Vakama, Onewa and Nidhiki and reappeared in Ta-Metru and observed the battle between the Toa Metru and the Morbuzakh before flying off to the Coliseum to report back to Teridax again. There, it witnessed the Toa Metru who have failed in the trial in the arena and were accused of 'killing' Lhikan and were about to be arrested by the Vahki.
It later appears in Po-Metru again where it observed Vakama, Nokama and Matau defeating the Vahki guarding the entrance to the Prison of the Dark Hunters with the help of the Kikanalo to rescue their friends before departing back to the Coliseum and reported everything back to its master again.
After Teridax revealed his identity and wrecked Metru Nui's power, Nivawk was caught by him and was absorbed into his essence in order to assume his most powerful form to fight against the Toa Metru as its wings reappeared on his back.
