Murray Reese (Earth-616)

Formerly a mercenary working for the Hellfire Club, Reese was nearly killed by Wolverine in battle together with Cole and Macon. The only way for them to survive was to become a cyborg. As thanks to Donald Pierce, Reese joined the Reavers to carry out his plans. Several encounters with the X-Men, Reese, alongside the Reavers, killed many individuals and crucified Wolverine.

Later, it was believed Reese had died with the other Reavers after an ambush by the Sentinels, but the Reavers survived and struck the X-Men later in the Australian Outback.

Murray Reese (Earth-92131)

Reese was a member of the cyborg mercenaries called the Reavers. They searched for an ancient alien craft that supposedly held limitless power. They located it within the Morlock Tunnels, but were unable to breach the hull. After capturing the Morlocks, they came to the conclusion that only adamantium could open it. They led the X-Man Wolverine down to the sewers and tricked him into cutting a hole in the ship, releasing the entity called the Spirit Drinker.
