|“||It's normal for children to tease. It's not normal for them to bite! Clearly it's because of how he's being raised. In my opinion, a dog can never be a suitable parent to a little boy.||„|
|~ Ms. Grunion|
Ms. Grunion (real name: Edwina Grunion) is the main antagonist of DreamWorks's 28th full-length animated feature film, Mr. Peabody and Sherman. She is a plump, strict, and cat-loving school counselor.
She was voiced by Allison Janney.
After Sherman bites his classmate Penny Peterson for calling him a "dog", Ms. Grunion is determined to have the adoption agency reclaim Sherman from Mr. Peabody permanently.
Later on, after she did try to take Sherman away, Mr. Peabody's fatherly instincts got the best of him and decided to do what Sherman did to Penny the day before; by biting her arm. Ms. Grunion called the police to have him arrested while a hole was ripped in the space-time continuum.
In the end, she got dragged back in time by King Agamemnon and the large duo were married, while she became a kinder and happier person.
- She was voiced by Allison Janney, who also voiced Gladys Sharp, from Over the Hedge, another film by DreamWorks Animation. She also voices 2nd Dimension Charlene, the main antagonist of the Phineas and Ferb episode, Tales From the Resistance: Back to the 2nd Dimension.
- She bears physical resemblance to Aunt Pristine Figg from Tom and Jerry: The Movie, Agatha Trunchbull from Matilda, Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Aunt Sponge from James and the Giant Peach.
- Ms. Grunion shares similarities with Agatha Trunchbull. Both have been called The Grunion (by King Agamemnon) and The Trunchbull (by one of Matilda's friends).
- She is also similar to Principal Cinch as both are snobbish school faculty members with lipstick and a mold on their faces.
