Mrs. Hamilton is the main villainess from "The Millennium," a Season Eight episode of Seinfeld.
She was played by the late Louan Gideon.
Mrs. Hamilton is the stepmother of Jerry's girlfriend, Valerie, and she confronts Jerry over the fact that Valerie has moved him up to the top of her speed dial list; something Mrs. Hamilton has wanted for years. When Valerie learns of her stepmother's meddling, she removes her from her speed dial completely. As payback, the evil Mrs. Hamilton invites Jerry (who she semi-seductively calls, "Jerome") to her place, with the promise that Valerie will be there. Jerry later discovers that Valerie isn't coming, and that it was part of Mrs. Hamilton's wicked plan to put him on her own speed dial, which she does. Jerry nervously runs off, while Mrs. Hamilton laughs evilly and watches. The three of them later agree to a compromise: Valerie puts her stepmother back on her speed dial, but only if Mrs. Hamilton removes Jerry from her own. However, Mrs. Hamilton deceptively keeps Jerry on; disguised as an emergency number. The ruse is exposed when Valerie dials poison control after Mrs. Hamilton becomes sick after inadvertently consuming a desiccant that Kramer dropped in the salsa. Instead of poison control, she gets Jerry.
- Louan Gideon, who passed away on February 3, 2014, is best remembered for playing lead villainess Danielle Atron on the Nickelodeon series, The Secret World of Alex Mack.
