Miles Mayhem is the cruel, aggressive leader of a deadly criminal organisation named V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem).
In the comics, he betrayed the original M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armoured Strike Kommand) team by killing Andy Trakker, Matt Trakker's brother who had founded the team and stealing half of the masks for evil purposes that formed his organisation.
In the cartoon, the origin of V.E.N.O.M. is a lot less clear, though Mayhem's connections to M.A.S.K. remain the same as the comics, and that he co-created the organisation.
Mentioned in the 2008 filecard of "Specialist Trakker" for G.I. Joe's recent line of toys, Miles Mayhem is an operative for Cobra, with V.E.N.O.M. being a technology and weapons research branch and mercenary army.
Mayhem wearing his deadly Viper Mask
His main mask is Viper that spits out corrosive poison and pilots Switchblade, a helicopter that can transform into a jet plane. He also has a twin brother named Maximus who sometimes helps in his schemes.
