Micro-Gene is one of the most powerful organizations in Neo-Amerika, a dystopian reality that makes up the setting of the videogame Bio F.R.E.A.K.S..
In the not-too-distant future, The United States fell, like all great empires throughout history. Fifty states were broken into private territories after the Techno-Industrial civil war(s). Bio-engineering and cybernetic modification accelerated and advanced at such an incredible rate, and forced an industrial competition of corporate espionage. The government tried to keep control of the country by a single thread, but the effect of the giant corporations' white collar wars drove the economy into a tail spin. Neo-Amerika rises as the result of the governmental bankruptcy and technological companies' hostile takeovers. To maintain order, The Secret Games Commission (SGC) is formed to organize deathmatch tournaments deciding which organization gets to control all of Neo-Amerika for certain period of years, leading to the creation of Biological Flying Robotic Enhanced Armored Killing Synthoids (Bio F.R.E.A.K.S.) serving as the champions for each participating organization.
Like many other organizations in Neo-Amerika Micro-Gene too competes in brutal death-sports utilizing cybernetically-enhanced warriors in order to settle disputes over territory and contract, though even with these games in place things such as murder and espionage are all too common.
Micro-Gene has created numerous warriors in its time, many have torturous lives consisting of little but brutal violence and stripped of free-will: such as the Dozers - who have had much of their organic parts replaced with machines in order to become mindless killing machines.
