Metal Head is a villain from Spyro the Dragon. This metallic cybernetic brute is employed as the boss of the Beast Makers home world by Gnasty Gnorc and is tasked with defeating Spyro. He is the fourth of six bosses fought in the game.
Metalhead is a giant metal robot with a purple mohawk, two arm cannons on each arm (with the left arm being replaced with an electric cannon in the Reignited Trilogy) and horns.
Metalhead is the boss of the self-titled level "Metalhead" in the Beast Makers world. However, unlike Toasty, Doctor Shemp and Blowhard before him, Metalhead cannot be attacked directly, but instead destroy the 17 power poles (8 on the first phase and 9 on the second phase) by charging at them when they aren't electrified.
He appears to be confined to an arena in the first phase of the fight, where he is charging up to shoot Spyro with his thunder beam, however, this also destroys the power poles Spyro plans to destroy too. He also throws monkey-like minions at Spyro. After the poles have been destroyed in the arena, he runs away. At the second phase, it is set at a hydropower plant in the swamp. He repeats the process and falls down after Spyro successfully destroys the last power pole, releasing gems from him.
