May I help you, Mr. Wayne?
~ Mercy upon finding Bruce.

Mercy Graves is a minor antagonist of the 2016 superhero movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the second installment of the DC Extended Universe and the sequel of 2013's Man of Steel.

Mercy is the right-hand woman of Lex Luthor and his chief henchwoman.

She is portrayed by Tao Okamoto.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Mercy is the right-hand woman of Lex Luthor and is seen at his side various times throughout the film, carrying out his deeds.

She is present at the charitable function Lex holds at his villa and notices Bruce Wayne wandering off. He goes to a computer server and she catches them, asking if she can help him. He tells her he was looking for the restroom and she informs him of its location. She later alerts Luthor that the Governor is there.

Mercy goes along with Luthor and Wallace Keefe to the US Capitol to attend the Senate committee hearing for Superman. Lex tells Mercy to go inside and save him a seat. However, Lex betrays Mercy and has a bomb hidden inside the building, which goes off during the hearing, killing Mercy and everyone inside, save for Superman.

  • This is the first live action iteration of the character.
  • While the original version of Mercy was Luthor's fighter as well, this version never shows any signs of this.
