Stop hand

If he were meant to be a good guy, he'll probably be called "Benedict". This malevolent landlord grabs all the land he can get, and punishes his delinquent tenants by repossessing their stuff. A sad turn for the man who was once your benefactor and your mom's ex-husband.
~ In~game description

Malcolm Landgraab is the main antagonist in The Sims Bustin' Out. His main role is to steal possessions from anyone who annoys him or fails to pay mortgage.

As it turns out, Malcolm is divorced from Mom who is the mother of the player's sim. Mom is upset over the divorce. To make matters worse, Malcolm steals a motorbike belonging to his Mom. The player then moves out and embarks on a new path to avenge Mom.

Ashamed of his son's laziness, Malcolm revokes Dudley's precious possessions. These include an air hockey table and a video game console. Without the ability to get a job, Dudley is left penniless. Despite these unfortunate events, he receives help from the player when they move in with him. This proves to be difficult, though. The player must clean all of the trash left by Dudley.

Overtime, the player receives promotions from their career. This allows them to buy the possessions that were taken by Malcolm. Without no more need to stay, the player move out of Dudley's trailer.

Mimi's Place[]

Fed up with his daughter's excessive spending, Malcolm takes Mimi's custom stove and private juice bar. This causes her to become upset and vulgar. To make matters worse, she uses "sign language" on the player. The only way for her to feel is to get back all her stuff. This, of course, is achieved by completing the level's goals, such as getting promoted in the player's current job.

Eventually, Mimi has her stuff back. The player moves onto a new location.

Studio 8[]

In an ironic twist of roles, Malcolm loses his mansion to the player's sim. Mom runs onto the screen and slaps him. Malcolm runs away before vowing to get revenge and his mansion back. The player takes control of the mansion and basks in its luxuries.
