Lolth is a powerful but evil goddess in the Dungeons & Dragons universe and is considered the supreme goddess of the Drows.
Lolth is often called the Demon Queen of Spiders, Spider Queen and the Queen of the Demonweb Pits - as can be expected from such titles Lolth is heavily associated with spiders and darkness as well as evil in its most chaotic forms (her alignment is stated as Chaotic Evil in most settings).
Lolth furthers her spider-themed chaos via the creation of Driders, horrific fusions of Drow and spider that are formed by Lolth whenever a Drow displeases her or fails one of her tasks (though in some rarer setting Drider are instead seen as "blessed" by their goddess with this form).
As a goddess Lolth's domain of influence is normally seen to include Chaos, Darkness, Drow, Evil, Destruction, Spiders and Trickery - she also has a connection with Assassins (most likely due to the shadowy nature of their work).
Lolth appears in the animated series Dungeons & Dragons. Lolth is the Demon Queen of Spiders who is in league with Venger. When the heroes are fleeing from the angry customers of the Dragon's Tooth tavern, she adopts a human guise and offers them an escape route, taking them through tunnels that run beneath city. She then transforms into a haggish spider hybrid and traps the heroes in an adhesive spider web so that Venger can claim their totems.
Afterwards Lolth transforms into a giant spider and lowers herself down into the web to consume the heroes but Uni, prompted by Hank, severs Lolth's line with her alicorn causing Lolth to plummet down the seemingly bottomless pit that the spider web was spun across.
