Lionel Twain is the primary antagonist in Murder by Death, played by the late famous author Truman Capote. He's an eccentric millionaire who invited all the world's greatest living detectives, Dick and Dora Charleston (parody to Nick and Nora Charles (The Thin Man)), Sydney Wang (parody to Charlie Chan), Milo Perrier (parody to Hercule Poirot), Sam Diamond (parody to Sam Spade and Richard Diamond) and Miss Jessica Marbles (parody to Miss Marple) to solve an unsolved murder, someone being stabbed by the back by a butcher's knife, ten times a midnight. What makes him villainous is he to prove the invited criminalogists, he's the greatest criminalogist for he knows who the victim is and who is the murderer.
