Lieutenant Pilzer was a minor villain of the movie The Train.

Pilzer was a young German officer serving in occupied France under Colonel Franz von Waldheim. Following the destruction of a German truck at Rive-Reine, Pilzer interrogated the station master, Jacques, about who had tied him up and murdered a German guard. He was very rough with Jacques, until von Waldheim made him back off.

Following the disastrous crash at Rive-Reine that caused the death of Captain Schmidt, von Waldheim ordered Pilzer to supervise repairs to the train. He protested it would take too long and an angry von Waldheim simply told him to use more men. Later that night, when the Resistance was painting the train white to mark it during a false air raid, Pilzer shot and killed Jacques' nephew Robert. Labiche shot Pilzer in revenge.
