The Kron are the first race seen in the Twilight Cage. They are a race of rock-like people who have been forced to mine ore for Ix. They'll attack you because they think Sonic is an echinda when he is really a hedgehog. They begin to realize their mistake though and their leader Foreman Krag asks Sonic and friends to defeat Ix for them in exchange for the Chaos Emerald they were given by Ix. The ore they mine plays an important part in helping Sonic defeat Ix.
