Kratt is a supporting antagonist of the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale. He is one of Le Chiffre's bodyguards of Quantum until the events of the film.
He was portrayed by Clemens Schick.
History
Kratt was first seen accompanying Le Chiffre to Uganda to make a deal with terrorist leader Steven Obanno on behalf of Mr. White.
Kratt was later present when Le Chiffre was playing poker with Madam Wu. Moreover, he warns his boss that an agent of the British government killed Mollaka Danso. Kratt was also present when Alex Dimitrios discusses with Le Chiffre in his yacht about their attempt to blow up a plane prototype (with the help from Carlos Nikolic), though the failed when the same agents managed to kill Dimitrios and Nikolic.
Due to the lost funds caused by Bond, Kratt was tasked to help Le Chiffre earn the lost money in a poker game at Casino Royale, even when Bond killed Obanno and his men and framed Leo for it. After Bond won the poker game, Le Chiffre kidnapped Vesper. Bond followed, her but he crashed his car when they set a trap. Using a knife, Kratt cuts a tracking device from Bond's arm, and when he and Le Chiffre bring Bond and Vesper to a nearby tramp steamer, Kratt uses his knife again to remove the seat from a cane-bottomed chair. He strips 007 and places him in the chair so Le Chiffre can torture him. Kratt then goes into the other room to deal with Vesper, but is later shot to death along with Valenka and the remaining henchmen by Mr. White offscreen, as the latter has had enough of Le Chiffre's failure.
