Kokatorimon (Cockatrimon in Japanese version) is a minor villain in Digimon Adventure 01, Data Squad, and a minion of Etemon. Kokatorimon is a Champion Level Digimon that resembles a giant chicken with blood red eyes and has the ability to turn anybody into stone.
Kokatorimon first appeared when the Digidestined were eating the food on his ship with a bunch of Numemon as his crew. He suceeded in turning the male Digidestined's Digimon into stone, but got smacked by Togemon's Light Speed Jabbing attack and knocked into the ship's chimney. When Kokatorimon came to, he attempted to roadkill the Digidestined and their Digimon in his ship, but the ship was tipped and catapulted into the air by the giant cactus, sending Kokatorimon into the air as well. Then the ship exploded, killing Kokatorimon in the process.
Digimon Data Squad
Marcus and Agumon encountered Kokatorimon who was attacking a hamburger stand. Marcus put up a great fight against Kokatorimon, but easily defeated Agumon. A mysterious old man suddenly appears and gave Marcus a Digivice to awaken Agumon (that is to punch the opponent and to Digivolve Agumon to GeoGreymon). Then GeoGreymon killed Kokatorimon with his Mega Flame attack.
A Giant Bird type Digimon to which his two legs have hugely developed. He is unable to fly across the sky because he lived a life on the ground, evolving to suitably survive. His body became huge in size, and his leg strength developed terrifically. His wings have degenerated, but in battle, he threatens the enemy by greatly expanding his tail feathers. Because he needs to maintain his gigantic figure excessively, his weakness in battle is his violent energy expenditure, even though he has a rough and ferocious nature. His special attack is "Petra Fire". Although it doesn't burn the enemy, this frightening attack instead petrifies its body solid.
- Stun Flame Shot/Frozen Fire Shot
- Feather Sword
- Kokatorimon can Digivolve into one of the Digimon Devas, Sinduramon.
- His name and design are derived from the mythological Cockatrice.
