Kenny Powers is the the main protagonist of the HBO series Eastbound and Down. Despite his status as the protagonists, Kenny is known for his selfish and nasty nature.
Kenny is portrayed by Danny McBride, and is said to be inspired by the career of real life former Major League pitcher John Rocker.
Kenny is a wisecracking, racist, misogynistic drug user, who will commit ridiculous and cruel acts in his own selfish interests. However, some incidents do show that deep down, Kenny has a heart of gold.
