Heinrich von Raitenau is a medical terrorist and a secondary antagonist in the videogame Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2.

Character History[]

Heinrich is a member of the medical terrorism organization Delphi, and took control of it after much of it was dismantled by the elite medical group Caduceus and its founder and former leader, his grandfather Adam, was presumed dead.

Heinrich took some time to regroup and concentrate Delphi's resources, making it so it was a few years before they were heard from again. However, Delphi eventually struck once more by releasing engineered outbreaks of newly strengthened versions of the Kyriaki, Tetarti and Pempti strains of their GUILT pathogen. However, they were unaware that a different version of GUILT known as Neo-GUILT was being developed by the leader of the Hands of Asclepius, Patrick Mercer.

To further Delphi's plans, Heinrich had his henchmen kidnap Dr. Derek Stiles and Angie Thompson, the heroes who had defeated Delphi in the previous GUILT crisis. Bringing them to his mansion, Heinrich imprisoned them and intended to use them as incubators for new types of GUILT.

However, the doctors were able to escape their holding cell and contact the authorities, resulting in a police raid on Heinrich's mansion. During the raid, the authorities discovered Heinrich hiding in a secret lab where it was revealed that he was using his own son and daughter, Karl and Christine, as GUILT incubators, much like the 'sinners' in the old Delphi base. Heinrich attempted to infuse himself with a special strain of the Tetarti GUILT to enter suspended animation as his grandfather did, but he and his children were suddenly dosed with an anti-GUILT serum by Dr. Adel Tulba, who was working for the HOA. However, due to the unique nature of the GUILT strains they were infected with, their bodies reacted violently, necessitating an immediate operation to free them of the pathogen.

After the operation, Heinrich was imprisoned and tried for crimes against humanity under international law, and the final remnants of Delphi dismantled.
