Giant Arachnid (GoW Comics)

The Giant Arachnid

The Giant Arachnid is a giant green-skinned, 15 ft spider, and a minor enemy in the God of War Comics.

Biography[]

When Kratos was ascending toward Asclepius for his quest to obtain Ambrosia, the giant Arachnid awaited. This giant spider was sent by an unknown God to destroy Kratos. The Arachnid approached Kratos from behind, urging him to cease his struggles, as it would all be over soon.

But Kratos immediately responded by saying "It would be over when the Arachnid lay dead.". He then processed by grabbing a torch, and lighting the Arachnid's eggs on fire. Enraged by Kratos' actions, the Arachnid asked Kratos how he dared to perform such an act of evil. Kratos then replied "I did as he pleased.".

Kratos then attacked the Arachnid by impaling its head with his blades and killing the giant Spider. Despite him killing the Arachnid, Kratos failed to discover which God sent the Arachnid to try to kill him.
