Garnac is a villain appearing as the main antagonist of the last two episodes of the third season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He's a male Trandoshan hunter who travels across the galaxy kidnapping various sentient beings, including Jedi Padawans, for the sake of a ritual "hunt" in Trandoshan culture and tradition. He's the leader of his own hunter guild and leads a band of many Trandoshan hunters who also take part in the sadistic Trandoshan "sport".
Sometime around the year 21 BBY during the Clone Wars, one of the members of Garnac's hunter guild had traveled to the planet of Felucia which was contested between Republic and Separatist forces. During the campaign, the Jedi Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, was found and captured by one of the members of the guild and brought her back to their main base during a Republic assault on a Separatist base. Ahsoka was later dropped onto an island on the moon of Wasskah where she and many other beings were hunted down for sport by Garnac and the other Trandoshan hunters.
During this hunt, Ahsoka managed to come across a group of Jedi younglings who were also captured by the Trandoshans and have been hiding for a long period time. During all of this, Garnac was with his son, Dar, who was going under a traditional Trandoshan ritual where he was declared a hunter and was sent out to kill Ahsoka and the other captured Jedi to complete his transition as a true hunter. When Dar ran into the Jedi, Ahsoka accidently got him killed and it angered Garnac who would spend the rest of the hunt trying to kill the padawan out of revenge for his son. Some time later, Ahsoka and the other younglings came across a young Chewbacca and they managed to find a Trandoshan hunters and capture him to use him as a tool to steal one of the Trandoshan speeders and head up to their base where Ahsoka was to confront Garnac and finish the battle once and for all.
