Führer Hell Saturn is the leader of Machine Empire Black Magma and the main antagonist of Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan. He directs the forces of Black Magma from his base in the North Pole, Iron Claw Castle, and oversees the development of Dark Q spies and Black Magma's Monger Army.
Aside from spreading chaos and destruction throughout the world, Hell Saturn also occasionally has his forces track down hidden treasures to fund Black Magma's goals. He was later revealed to be a minion of the Omnipotent God, the deity of the Black Magma cult.
He was voiced by the late Shōzō Iizuka who previously voiced Iron Man Mask General Temujin and Volcano Mask General Magman in Himitsu Sentai Goranger, Satan Egos in Battle Fever J and the majority of Vader Monsters in Denshi Sentai Denziman, and later voiced Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa in Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, Hyde Gene in GoGo Sentai Boukenger and Great King Mons Drake of the Planet in Tensou Sentai Goseiger.
Biography[]
A projection of Führer Hell Saturn appears at a United Nations conference after several planes from the UN Guardians of World Peace are shot down at the North Pole by Black Magma's forces. Hell Saturn reveals the existence of Black Magma and announces their plans for world domination. In response to the global threat that Black Magma poses, the United Nations approve an initiative by the Guardians of World Peace to form a team of three called "Sun Vulcan" to combat Black Magma. Hell Saturn immediately sets about crushing Sun Vulcan after it is formed, sending his agents to eliminate each of the three recruits. After Sun Vulcan thwart several of Black Magma's schemes, Hell Saturn recovers the frozen body of Queen Hedrian and revives her by placing a mechanical heart in her chest, believing that her magical powers can assist Black Magma in their goals. To keep her from rebelling against Black Magma, Hell Saturn keeps a device with him that could shut down her heart at any point. Black Magma's forces are later bolstered again when Amazon Killer, a Vader Clan field officer from space, arrives on Earth to assist Queen Hedrian.
Hell Saturn later recruits Inazuma Ginga, a bounty hunter from outer space, to be a member of Black Magma but Hell Saturn and Inazuma get into a fight over Hell Saturn's tampering with Inazuma's Monger partner, Fighter Monger. Hell Saturn ends up being killed by Inazuma, revealing him to be a mecha-human. After his death, Queen Hedrian usurps control of Black Magma, though apparitions of him wander throughout Black Magma's base and later appear to Queen Hedrian to explains that he is revived by the Omnipotent God. He then makes her artificial heart rust, inducing cardiac arrest and killing her.
Hell Saturn later reappears in the final episode alongside a revived Hedrian and Amazon Killer when Sun Vulcan confront the Omnipotent God. The three all disappear when Chief Arashiyama strikes and kills the Omnipotent God.

Fuhrer Hell Saturn is among the villains recalled by the narrator as a being that threatened the Earth only to be defeated by the various Sentai.
Personality[]
Fuhrer Hell Saturn was a cunning, devious, ruthless, sly and diabolical leader of Black Magma who was highly intelligent, sly, calculating, and would stop at nothing to destroy Sun Vulcan and conquer the Earth. He was highly intelligent, calculating, resourceful and scheming and can create cunning, unpredictable and well constructed plans for achieving his goals. He always spoke with a high-pitched, robotic and sinister voice but was also highly loyal to his master, the Omnipotent God and would do everything he could to aid him in his plans of conquering the world. Hell Saturn was also highly vengeful since, after San Vulcan foiled several of his plans, he labelled them as the top threat to his plans of conquering the world and made destroying them the top priority.
His vengeful nature also showed up when Queen Hedrian and Inazuma Ginga betrayed him and caused his death. And he decided to get revenge on them and was full of wrath and viciousness. Overall, Hell Saturn was highly intelligent, sadistic, ruthless, devious and diabolical villain, who took his plans seriously and would stay loyal to his master in his plans of global domination and world conquest.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Power: Due to his role as the leader of Black Magma, Fuhrer Hell Saturn was immensely powerful and possessed multiple supernatural powers and abilities in his disposal and was the second most powerful villain in Sun Vulcan series, surpassing any of his minions and monsters and is surpassed only by his master the Omnipotent God himself.
- Strength: Fuhrer Hell Saturn was able him to easily lift giant objects, overpower dolls, throw his enemies like a rag dolls. His immense physical strength was shown heavily in his final fight against the Rangers, when he duelled Inazuma and was able to easily match the Red Ranger and nearly overpower him. It took Inazuma significant effort to beat the leader of the Black Magma.
- Skilled Fighter: Hell Saturn was an exceptionally skilled and capable fighter, being able to easily match and overpower all three members of Sun Vulcan. He was a serious opponent for Inazuma in their final battle.
- Superhuman Stamina: Hell Saturn possessed supernatural stamina and is able to fight in the battle for hours without heavy tiring.
- Lightning Deflection: Hell Saturn was able to to deflect lightning.
- Energy Beams Projection: Hell Saturn could project powerful energy beams from his hands.
- Teleportation: Hell Saturn could teleport to any location at will.
- High Intelligence: Hell Saturn possessed a brilliant mind, and was an excellent strategist and tactician, able to create a cunning plans and tactics and easily outsmart his enemies.

- Hell Saturn's costume bore a resemblance to that of Darth Vader of the Star Wars franchise. As Sun Vulcan premiered around half a year after Star Wars - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, this may not be coincidental.
