Kick-Ass[]

Frank D'Amico is the Italian-American boss of the D'Amico crime family, and the most powerful gangster in new york. Leading his criminal empire along with his brother Ralph, his underboss Big Joe, and his enforcers Stu, Cody, and Mikey. He lives in a hotel, which is completely owned by him, along with his wife Angie and his son Chris. In the past, Frank became threatened by a cop named Damon Macready, who along with his partner Marcus, was an unstoppable cop. He then had the cop on his payroll, Vic Gigante, plant drugs in macready's apartment, and then sent a swat team to raid the apartment and they found the drugs. Macready was arrested, and sent to prison for a while. His wife dying of a drug overdose.

When Frank finds out that all his cocaine has been taken by a mysterious vigilante whom was reportedly dressed like batman (Which he doesn't know is macready, now fighting crime as "Big Daddy" along with his daughter "Hit Girl") he orders the new superhero on the news, Kick-Ass, to be killed. The Situation causes frank to become more and more unhinged. He starts snorting coke more, he shoots a teenager dressed as kick-ass who he assumed was the real one, and even shoots and kills an innocent bystander who saw the murder happen.

Chris has a plan on how to get Kick-Ass, he would go undercover as a superhero named Red Mist, and gain kick-ass's trust. Frank agreed, and had one of his own capos arrested thanks to an anonymous tip made by chris, and Red Mist ended up on the news. Chris's plan works, and he teams up with chris. That night, chris drives kick-ass to frank's lumber warehouse where he will be captured by his men who are posted there. Frank and Joe drive there, planning to kill kick-ass once they arrive. However, when they arrive they find the warehouse in flames, and they then drive away.

Frank thinks first that it is Kick-Ass' doing. He calls Gigante to his penthouse, and begs for his help in fighting kick-ass. However, chris shows up, and frank is relieved. Chris shows him a surveillance tape of Big Daddy killing all the men and burning the building, Frank still doesn't change his mind about Kick-Ass and has both him and Big Daddy captured and he then lets his men post a live video of them beating up and torturing Big Daddy and Kick-Ass, just as they are about to set the place on fire and kill them both, Hit-Girl comes and kills all the men and rescues Kick-Ass but Big Daddy gets badly burned and dies. Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass decide to break into D'Amico's Hotel, and they kill all the men there. and finally come face-to-face with D'Amico.

Kick-Ass battles Chris while Hit-Girl and D'Amico engage in a brutal fight, which D'Amico wins. Just as he is about to kill Hit-Girl, Kick-Ass appears with Big Daddy's bazooka and blasts D'Amico through a window, killing him in an explosion high above the city. Chris is shown at the end of the film, swearing vengeance on both Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl for his father's death.

Kick-Ass 2[]

Although not physically seen in sequel, he is mentioned in Kick-Ass 2. His mother lies to Chris about Frank's death by telling him he burned during a fire. Chris does his criminal activities to avenge his father, taking on the mantle of "The Mother Fucker". Ralph took over the family, leading it even while in prison.

Family[]

Though its possible frank has a much larger extended family, we are introduced to only 3 members of his family.
