Master Fnog is the main antagonist of the Futurama episode "Raging Bender".
He is Leela's former Kung Fu master, who always belittled her for being a woman. He later created the Destructor as a proxy that he controlled while fighting Bender.
He was voiced by David Herman.
Appearance[]
Fnog is an insect-like alien with an exoskeleton, green skin, and multi-yellow eyes consistent with bugs. He has graying hair and always wears a white Kung Fu robe with a black belt.
History[]
Before the show's events, Fnog had taught Leela Kung Fu when she was a child. While he made her a skilled fighter, he constantly looked down upon her and was very mean to her because she was a girl. He later ruined her chances at fighting for the Arcturan Kung Fu junior championships, which Leela still hates him for.
While fighting Destructor, Bender was losing badly. However, when Leela moved under the ring, she discovered that Fnog was controlling the massive robot, which gave it an unfair advantage. Fnog has been using motion capture and virtual reality since the 1970s to control the robot. After being caught, Fnog starts fighting Leela, still being mean to her as they fight, but thanks to the fight, Destructor above them is going out of control and, by default, losing the match. When Fnog punches Leela to the ground, Destructor's fist goes right through the ring, knocking both of the chopsockies out. Destructor, however, fell on and flattened Bender, thus winning the match anyway, and Fnog was ultimately defeated.
