Whamon is a minor character in Digimon Adventure 01 and Digimon Xros Wars.
Appearance[]
Whamon are Digimon that can be either a Champion Level Digimon or an Ultimate Level Digimon. Thay resemble giant whales with a brown top and tube on their bodies.
Biography[]
Digimon Adventures 01[]
After Devimon was defeated there were still some Digimon that had a Black Gear stuck in or on them. One of them was a Whamon. When the DigiDestined were out to sea, searching for the Tags, a Whamon attacked them and ate them. When they were inside they found a Black Gear stuck inside his stomach. Tai used his Digivice to destroy the Black Gear. After the Black Gear was destroyed, Whamon helped the DigiDestined find the Tags.
When MetalSeadramon was about to finish off the Digidestined, the same Whamon came and rescued them. He scarified himself to save the DigiDestined from MetalSeadramon's attack. Presumibly he was revived during Digimon Adventure 02.
Digimon Xros Wars[]
A small ammount of Dripmon took the form of a Whamon-like vestil. They were all absorbed by Splashmon so he could form Splashmon Darkness Mode.
